Airport Location and Transportation Options
The Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico airport is located 10 km (6 miles) north of San Jose del Cabo. The airport is a 30- to 40-minute drive from Cabo San Lucas. Most major car rental agencies have a presence at the airport if you are interested in having your own car.
Recommended Pick-Up and Drop-Off Arrangements
However, we highly recommend coordinating your pick-up and drop-off with one of the car companies provided by our property manager. Taxis are also available curbside.
Meeting Your Driver at the Airport
When going through the airport, simply walk straight out the doors past the “greeting patrons” who may offer you a ride, information, or things to do. Your driver will meet you outside and take you to our home. Look for your name on the sign they will be holding.
Beginning Your Vacation in Mexico
Remember, you are now in Mexico and on Mexico time, so feel free to enjoy a cold beverage at the little bar outside the airport. Your driver will be happy to wait while you begin your vacation. Typically, your driver will also have complimentary cold beverages available in the car if you prefer.
